About the event
Wax begonias are a widely loved tough, little plant. They sport glossy, waxy-looking leaves and work great in sun or shade! Their flower colors can usually be found in white, pink, or red and will bloom all summer long. Not only are they beautiful, but they are low maintenance additions to your spring collection of outdoor plants.
This class is great if you want to decorate doors, trellises, arbors, outdoor table (a nice wide candle in the center would look great) and fences or if you want to think outside the box and lay it on a stump or an unused birdbath! So many possibilities! We will use a heavy, duty wire frame that is coated in plastic (one that can be used over and over for years) lined with woodland moss and planted with begonias to make this creation. Woodland moss is thick which makes it outstanding for holding together unlike other moss varieties.
The moss will be wet when we work with it, please feel free to bring a pair of thin rubber gloves.
